Marina Fire

(next slide)

GloryBe is a wooden boat who was built near Seattle in 1914 and has a rich history cruising Northwest waters. In January 2002 she was nearly destroyed in a marina fire where she was moored. Happily, she is now being restored as part of the curriculum of the Marine Carpentry program at Seattle Central Community College. GloryBe is one of the northwest's oldest classic boats and is unique to see when underway.

If you have any questions, ideas, comments, or words of wisdom, either about the restoration of GloryBe or this website, please feel free to send email to the boat's current owner, Betsy Davis.
